Broderson is no stranger to the wrestling scene. While at Davenport Assumption High School, he was a dominant force on the mat - becoming a three-time Iowa High School state champion and two-time Fargo All-American. To top it off, he was named 2018-2019 Quad Cities Male Athlete of the Year.
As a Cyclone, Broderson wasted no time building an impressive collegiate resume, tallying several tournament titles and beating top-10 ranked wrestlers. At the 2023 Big 12 Championship, he locked in an eighth place finish in a competitive field. Now in the 2023-2024 season, Broderson has bumped up to 197 pounds and has already recorded big pins and wins.
